Five Reasons Why Your Small Pets Will Love HayDay!

Looking for a new, premium quality and barn dried hay supplier? Choose The HayDay Way!

We’re HayDay, and we produce premium, barn dried hay for your small pets.

It all began with brothers Tom and Mike, whose family has been growing a range of crops on the farm for many years!

Over the last 10 years, we have become experts in hay products in the equestrian market, but we didn't want small pets to miss out on our totally delicious hay: and with that, HayDay was born.

Based on our farm in Yorkshire we grow all the grass (i.e. hay) ourselves. We also mow it, dry it, pack it and ship it directly from the farm and to your door too.

So everything you see - yep, that's done by us! With managing the full process in house, it means we can guarantee quality hay for your small pets each time. Meaning your Timothy Hay and Meadow Hay will arrive with you and your small animal's in tip top condition each time!

We grow all of our hay in-house

We grow all our own grass here in the UK, on our farm in Yorkshire so we know exactly what has happened to our hay from the field, straight to your pet.

We barn dry our hay using green energy

Using traditional farming techniques, hay is left to dry in the field, which is inconsistent and hard to manage due to British inclement weather. We have much more control by barn drying our hay meaning we can guarantee the best quality hay for your small animals, all year round.

We are recyclable

All of our products are packaged in either cardboard, paper or environmentally friendly materials. Not to mention how our boxes are also printed using water based ink, meaning your small pet can happily play with them. Sustainability is truly at the heart of what we do, and as a small business - we’re pretty proud!

We grow hay specific for your small pets

We have fields on the farm dedicated to growing Timothy Hay and Meadow Hay for your pets, where it is looked after from start to finish making sure it is just right for them.

We care about our planet

We are champions of our environment, whilst also caring for the environment around us.

You wouldn’t believe some of the things we do; such as introducing beehives on the farm, planting wildflowers and hedgerows and even having sheep to help nourish the grass. More about that to come...
