Premium Quality Hay for Chinchillas
Hay should represent the majority of a chinchilla's diet to support a healthy and balanced diet.
Hay should be offered free choice ensuring that there is always hay available.

Feeding Guidelines for Chinchillas
Forage (grass and/or hay) should represent the majority of a chinchillas diet (~75-85%) in order to maintain healthy digestive and dental function. Therefore, hay can be fed ad lib either as the sole forage source or alongside fresh grass.
Feeding directions
Be sure to remove any uneaten or spoiled hay daily and feed alongside a suitable species-specific pelleted food fed at the recommended rates. Contamination of hay can be reduced by providing it in bags, cubes or other safe hay feeders. Clean fresh water should be available at all times and fresh vegetables provided daily.
