We offer four different types of hay for your small animals: Timothy Hay, Meadow Hay, Ryegrass Hay and Alfalfa Hay. These hay types are all high-quality, barn dried and dust extracted.

Tasty Timothy Hay is brilliant to aid any small pets and their hay consumption; whether it's encouraging them to nibble on more hay than they would usually, recovery after surgery or even just for some foraging fun. All made easier as it’s sweet to taste, cue the extra delicious-ness!

Moreish Meadow Hay is a softer stem so is a great option for those looking for a palatable forage that suits the fussiest of nibblers. Our Meadow Hay is 100% natural + traditional hay meadow grasses and high fibre to support gut health, digestion and dental function. Even if your small pet doesn’t nibble on much meadow hay, it pairs as an equally comfy bed or as a boredom breaker for them to rummage and play in!

HayDay was started by self confessed grass enthusiast brothers Tom & Mike. Over the last 10 years they have refined their knowledge and become experts in growing the perfect grass mixtures to suit the varying nutritional requirements for all animals from horses to zoo animals to small pets.

We produce premium quality, long stem hay for Small Animals all year round! Unlike traditional farming methods where farmers would rely on consecutive dry days to make hay, we use green energy to barn-dry our hay! This guarantees perfect quality hay each time.

Long-stem fibre is essential when searching for your perfect hay choice as it promotes dental and gut health. The long stem length helps to encourage more chewing and natural foraging behaviour which helps to keep your small animals enriched and occupied for longer. Hay should also been green in colour.

We have an in house nutritionist, Briony, who is a Registered Nutritionist with the AfN (Assosiation for Nutrition) and has spent time as a nutritionist for everything from guinea pigs to guinea fowl and has a keen interest in feeding for gastric and dental health. Briony advises us on feeding guidelines for happy healthy small pets and thier welfare. Not to forget, that our hay is most definitely small pet approved!

We dispatch all of our 4.5kg hay boxes using DPD next day delivery. Spend over £33 for free delivery or for orders under, flat rate shipping is £3.95. For next day delivery, order before 12pm Monday-Friday.

Our 1kg hay boxes are dispatched using Evri two to three day delivery.
