Here's what you need to know about HayDay...
All our hay is grown with love in Yorkshire. Hay is what we do best — from planting the seeds to packing our boxes, we manage the whole process ourselves. We can guarantee a high quality hay and a consistent product every time. We also work closely with our in house nutritionist to help your small pet stay healthy and happy, for life.
Tasty Timothy Hay is a favourite with rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus! Loved for its coarse texture, and high protein and fibre content - it's the perfect hay to support dental and digestive health.
Moreish Meadow Hay is great not only to nibble but it pairs as a comfy bed too! Adored by the fussiest of small animals, it's also high fibre to support healthy digestive and gut health.
Ryegrass Hay is a palatable option for all small animals. Its long and stalky stems assist with dental and digestive health and it is a great source for additional nutrition. It's sweet taste makes it a hit with the fussiest of small pets!
Alfalfa Hay is an excellent forage choice for breeding, young and growing small pets. Ample fibre supports digestive and dental function, and its high protein and calcium levels supports health and development.
Small pets (such as rbbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus) should have unlimited access to great quality hay, at all times. Hay should make up the majority of your small animal's diet (approximately 80 to 90%)
At minimum, pets should have a pile of hay equal to the rabbit's body size per day.
Refer to our feeding guidelines for further guidance.
We best recommend storing your small pets hay in a cool, dark and well ventilated space. Hay can be kept fresh for your rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals for as long as 18 months. For more information, you can see some of our customer's hay box storage solutions.
Absoloutely! We offer a fully flexible subscription service where you can manage, amend or cancel your hay subscription at anytime - with no cancellation fee!
You can choose a plan best suited to your small pets from every 2, 4, 8 or 12 weeks. Need another option? Just let us know!

Follow us across on our socials @HayDayHQ for more behind the scenes of our team, our farm and our customer's famous golden poops (yes, you heard that right)!
